Becoming member of the World Federation of Technical Assessment Organisations

On 14 December 2018, UBAtc decided to apply for WFTAO (World Federation of Technical Assessment Organisations) membership.
The WFTAO was founded in 1996 and is a worldwide network for coordinating and facilitating the technical assessment of innovative construction products and systems.
The WFTAO currently has 25 members from 22 countries across the global market, enabling UBAtc to achieve better access to the international markets for Belgian manufacturers.
In the meantime, WFTAO confirmed UBAtc’s membership.

Publication of Technical approval texts for Foundation piles

A new scheme has been launched for the Technical Approval of foundation piles with certification. To this end, a collaboration has been set up between the approval operators SECO and Buildwise, the certification operator BCCA and independent experts in the field of foundation piles.
