The technical approvals and assessments carried out by (the operators of) UBAtc asbl lead to declarations of fitness for use and European Technical Assessments that help to control the technical risks when using the assessed products and contribute to the quality of the construction works and the construction process.
As a result, not only the manufacturers who market the assessed products benefit from the activities of the UBAtc, but also the other actors and in particular architects and contractors who specify and use them, and in the end certainly not least also the owners and users of the buildings and works.

The activities of the operators, and therefore of the UBAtc, are increasingly extending to supporting the actors on the construction site and providing information tailored to the users of the assessed and approved products and individual construction sites.

Apart from its participation in European and international organizations, UBAtc and its operators are open to collaborate bi- or multilaterally at sector or file level, with other third parties in the interest of the sector, as long as its rules may be respected.
